The Bowden Bowl 

Head coaches Bobby Bowden of FSU and Tommy Bowden of Clemson University were known for one of the most unusual rivalries in college football history — the Bowden Bowl. It was the first time a father and son, both head coaches, had competed against each other at the national level. Above is a clip from (not aired) the television show I directed called Bobby Bowden Goes to War, about this special father and son relationship and football rivalry.
